About me

LAUREN MEI

Lauren Mei is an artist and actress whose work moves between film, visual art, and embodied storytelling. Working in Hollywood since the age of three, she brings a lifelong relationship with performance to projects that explore womanhood, sensitivity, and emotional bluntness with clarity and restraint.

She is currently a student at Harvard University, studying Psychology and Cognitive Science alongside Art, Film, and Visual Studies. Grounded in an interdisciplinary practice that spans visual arts, fashion, and psychology, her work is driven by a desire to create immersive, visceral experiences — art that is felt as much as it is seen.

Across mediums, her projects examine interiority, identity, and the tension between vulnerability and self-possession. Whether on screen or through multimedia work, she approaches storytelling as an embodied process, using art as a site for presence, intimacy, and truth.
